Predator wont start on Adapter !

Hello,
My predator does not start when i plug it in the ac adapter it seems that the adapter is not powering the tool up !

but it does start normally when i do plug it into the vehicle i would like to know is the problem from the PC interface kit power adapter or the predator itself !

is there a way to test?

Any help?

if the predator boots up fine in the car when connecting to the obd port, then the problem is with the power adapter, or the outlet you're plugging it in to...

does the outlet you're plugging it in to need to have a wall switch turned on to get power to it??

wall socket does not require a switch it has a light that turns on when something gets plugged in it.. I put it into the socket and nothing happens .. the light however turns on and i had my phone charger plugged in so it's not wall related .

is the power adapter covered under warranty? if yes, i need the information on how to return it what to do etc etc.. i guess it will take 2 weeks for a circulation of the adapter as it took 2 weeks for the pc interface kit to arrive ... international shipments take time...

is it possible to use alternative adapter if so i need specifications.

Hello AeRoyal,

This might seems a bit crazy But if you have an external HD laying around. Then take a look at the power connector. I found out that 3 differant brands had the exact same power outlet needed by the predator. SO i used that adaptor. But only do this when you are certain its the same seize connector and the same power wattage.
