Monte Needed
07 A6 C6, OK checked and have no leaks or codes. Temperature 83 degrees. Performed three logs. First, bank one -2.34 and bank two -6.25. Second log, bank one -3.12 and bank two -5.47. Third log. bank one -2.34 and bank two -4.69. Now if I add the logs and divide by two I get the following averages -4.29, -4.29 and -3.52. Isn't this the right way to get the LTFT averages. Adjusting could make one bank in the positive and one bank in the negative. Is this acceptable? From previous experience my car runs better without retard if we can get the LTFTs to say -2 in lieu of 0. I guess it likes it on the rich side. Anything around 0 brings on retard. Your setting suggestion and input is very much appreciated!!!

RE: Monte Needed
I believe you a re supposed to average the two banks individually. Avg for bank 1 and an avg for bank 2. I think you are supposed to use the bank with the lowest number to base your adjustments off of. I get an average of the 3 logs of -5.43 for the lowest bank. That would call for a +3 adjustment to your fuel slope by what I am seeing. I'm sure he'll confirm that, or tell you I am completely crazy....LOL I'm just going off my experience w/ my vehicle and what I remember from his thread. Hope that helps some!
