Need help with U1735 '09 Charger R/T

Post by cheesewizard »

I installed the 93 CAI tune a few days ago on my '09 Charger R/T. Drove the car and it responded well. Couple of days later I plugged in the Predator and went to "Modify Stock Tune" to change parameters. I changed speed limit, rev limit and reset TCM. Now my questions is when it says Modify Stock Tune is that the factory tune I'm adjusting and installing or is it making changes to 93 CAI tune? After I made the adjustments it asked "Install tune?" so I installed it. From my understanding I made changes to the 93 CAI tune I had previously installed. Is this correct? Thanks.

Nope.........you are now running the stock tune with whatever changes you made under the "modify stock tune" setting.........you dont notice any difference in how the car feels? I just loaded a predator on my car a week ago (used to have one a year ago then sold it) and I cant really tell any difference to be honest

I just went out there and reinstalled stock tune THEN installed 93 CAI tune with "modifications". Yes, I noticed a little difference in how the car shifted and it wasn't as responsive. That's why I asked. I got it all figured out now. Thanks!

I can say first time I installed 93 CAI tune it took a few days for the car to really start running better.

You will notice a bigger difference wright away if you reset the tcm adaptives when you install the performance tune.

When I reinstalled the modified 93 CAI tune I reset TCM adaptives. It's driving REALLY good now!
