05 gt air raid tune problem

i have a 05 gt with a air raid cold air intake and when i install the tune for the air raid it has a very rough idle when i start it then i will sputter and die plz help

Have you removed the venturi from the intake?

the airaid intake has a insert that needs to be removed for use with the tune.

can u point me in the right direction where this is located and what i would look like? i have never even heard of this part that would have to be removed

It is referred to as I think the MVT insert or something along those lines, and would be located before the MAF.

one more question...so this insert do i just take it out? or do i have to buy something else to go in its place?

mike i figured it out..u take out the MAF and it slips out thanks again for all the help..going to take it to the track tonight to see how it does

i also have an airaid on a 05gt is there a spasific tune for the airaid if so were can i get it

what octane do u run in your gt ?

91 octain

[rabbit79]

u would run the regular airaid tune with 91 ocatane i run 93+ octane so i use the 93 octane with agressive shifts
