what would cause this?????

U7137 CROM 07 ON A 2009 DODGE HEMI 5.7 4X4 WITH REMOTE START.
RUNNING THE 91 OCTANE TUNE WITH NO MODIFICATIONS EXCEPT FOR THE TIRE ADJUSTMENT WHICH I SWITCHED UP TO THE 35'S
WHEN I FIRE THE TRUCK UP IN THE MORNIN FROM IN THE CAB IT HAS A HARD TIME STARTING LIKE ITS MISFIRING OR SOMETHING..
ALSO THIS MORNIN ON THE WAY TO WORK I HIT THE THROTTLE AND THE ENGINE CUT OUT TWICE ON ME....
COULD THIS BE THE PROGRAMMER OR SOMETHIN ELSE ?

NO SIR JUST STARTED IT LAST WEEK
I WAS RUNNING THE 87 TUNE AND HAD NO PROBLEMS
I WANTED TO DO THE 91 TUNE TO SEE WHAT THE DIFF WAS IN PERFORMANCE

I HAVE BEEN RUNNING THE 91 TUNE FOR THE LAST 3 WEEKS AND IT JUST STARTED DOING THIS LAST WEEK LIKE MAYBE WED.

OK, this would indicate an issue with the truck.

i had the truck checked out at the dealer and of course they said nothing is wrong with it.
Do you think this might have something to do with the fuel system?
It only has a hard time starting the very 1st time i fire it up.
If i let it set for 2 days the RPMs fluctuate,jumps all the way up to 2g down to 1500 then to 1g and back up to 2g and then it finally
settles down to 1g and runs fine.
I have also noticed the tranny slippin when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd.

they didnt find any nor did the programmer

There is a check valve in the fuel line that maintains the injector pressure when the car is not running. If this valve is leaking pressure back to the gas tank you will get these symptoms. Try turning the ignition on and waiting for a few seconds before you start the truck. This gives the fuel pump time to get the pressure back up so the engine has enough fuel. If you still have the problem take it to the dealer and ask them to check the fuel rail pressure after the car has sat over night. The fuel system losing pressure will not throw a code so don't let them B.S you make them check the fuel pressure. This happened to me and it took awhile for me to run the problem down and get the dealer to fix it. They kept telling me the same thing there's nothing wrong.

Brandy16 what motor is yours. ? What fuel presure did you have and what was it supposed to be ? at the fuel rail.
As fuel trims are changed in canned tunes,(from stock) I think they are. Wonder if that change in presure along with the tune, would that make a motor run worse ? or loose power, have less power. Dont mean to hijack thread, but im wondering......

The pressure will not change with the tune. So try what I told you ( leave the key on for a few moments and then start) and if the truck starts and dose not die or surge then put the stock tune back in and take it to the dealer.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the dealer found the problem
it was the fuel pump.
sounds like this might be a problem for alot of 2009s
