Support for calid 05187901AH -(Update - Now Supported 9r25)
Predator u7135
2009 Chrysler 300c (5.7) AWD.
CROM 9r23b
Just got my car back from the dealer for an overheating and AC issue.
They updated my firmware and now my predator says I need to downgrade from 05187901AH to 05187901AF in order to use it.
Since they said part of the fix was in the firmware I do not wish to downgrade.
Is there anyway to get support for that callid.

There may be support for it in the next update, but I can not say for sure.

Ok thanks... Any ideas on the release date of the next update?

Oh I see...
Thanks! If you have been waiting a while it must be on the verge of comming out.
What worries me though is that if this calid is not supported in 9r24... I'll be stuck waiting for a whole lot of time before getting any fun out of my predator. I don't mind waiting a week or two... but wasting the whole summer would be pretty bad.
That doesn't bode too well...

There are a number of guys waining on this I think. Kind of a bummer... I think they are close though If I've read the boards correctly. a few even tried a beta I think. I'm also getting the feeling that it's kind of a complete re-write from what I'm seeing so I'm not sure how that all shakes out or why Dodge would need to do that?? If it is true then I would think that would also effect the CMR programs.??? Then that begs the question of backwards compatibility... I can see how it could get a bit complicated... just speculating... though.... ??

Yeah from what I've read, they seem to be close to releasing. I can't wait to plug it back on... This little thing really kick's ass!!
I just hope I'll be able to enjoy it soon! If my calid is not supported in the next release, I guess I'll have to set it aside for the next summer.

I just ordered a predator for my 2009 300c 5.7 Am I correct in assuming I may not even be able to use it?! Or only if its been reflashed for some reason? The car is virtually new only 3k on it.
RE: Re: RE: Support for calid 05187901AH - 2009 300c
Yeah, you should be ok! Your car will most probably be on the F version of the firmware.
Don't worry too much about it my friend. I just have bad karma that is all... the dealership doesn't update your car unless there is a good reason to do so. Mine had cooling issues.
In theory, this would also affect people with CMR tunes but I don't think it will be a major issue. How many people with an 2009 AWD 300C would need a CMR tune? Most recent AWD owners don't even know how much the new transfer case can handle. I tried to search around but I didn't find any supercharged 2009 AWD 300c. Didn't find much about nitrous. The car has variable valve timing so I don't see any cam mods either. I don't see the need for a CMR tune, the canned tunes are already good in most cases.
BTW, if anyone knows about someone pushing the limits on the new AWD drivetrain, please post what you know about it. I'm kinda thinking about it, but I don't want to be the first to blow the freaking electromagnetic clutch assembly to smitherines...

I'd also like to mention my car is not awd. Wether or not that makes a difference I don't know.

kinda sucks having the predator in a drawer not being able to use it, after having tasted it... just hope it becomes usable soon. If I understand correctly F..G..H, G & H versions are not usable, if G isn't here yet, you may need more patience for the H than this summer season. maybe and not sure don't sound too promesing for near futur
.
