2001 HD Rev Limiter

WE just recently bought a 2001 Chevrolet 2500 HD with the 8.1 Engine. It came with a predator tuner on it. I tried to play around with it to figure this out, but i had no luck. When the truck is in nuetral it will not rev above 3000 rpm's. Someone told me that this tuner should eliminate that limiter. But i could not figure out how to do anything specific. It only installs the tune, it doesn't tell me exactly what it is changing, nor does it give me any options for anything. Can anyone help?

This limiter is not changed in the tune....
If you want it disabled, we may be able to do so in a custom tune, but my question is....why?

no mechanical reason i guess. I just hate that you can't put the truck in nuetral and rev it up. WHen i got exhaust put on it, i couldn't rev it up to see how it sounded.
