U7130 Tow mode question

Post by moo2613 »

What changes does the tow mode make? I have an 05 automatic with 190k on it and I do not want to toast anything. I pull a 13k 5th wheel and the truck handles it just fine, but more power is always better. I have a tranny temp gauge, but that is it. I have put every mile on this truck, so I know it has never been hot rodded.

I just purchased my Predator to reset a dealer only code that I have delt with for 5 years now. I didn't know the Predator would reset it until about 2 weeks ago, when I found out, I ordered that afternoon. So much easier than finding a dealer wherever I happen to be at the time.

The tow tune is safe for towing up to the factory weight limits, and adds 65 HP and 150 ft/lbs of torque.

Thanks, one thing I was wondering about was the fact that I do not have an EGT gauge.

No need for EGT gauge with the tow tune.
