long tube headers

for the c5 vette do you have to weld on the flanges for the catalytic converters? i think i might by the short tube headers that way i can always go back to stock. is there much power difference like the exhaust company says?

Longtubes make a big difference over shorties.
Most of the longtube systems include an X-pipe that can be bolted or clamped to the headers.
You could always go back to the stock manifolds if you wanted.
