U7194 Can this be used for more than one car.

you can only tune one vehicle at a time... when you tune a vehicle with it, it becomes locked to that vehicle and can not be used to tune a different one...

so, you would have to restore the original backup stock tune file to vehicle #1 in order to unlock the predator - and then you could use it on vehicle #2...

you can not have both vehicles tuned at the same time... only one at a time...

Did that and tried loading the performance tune on the vette. It cam up and said calibration currently not supported, will try to save origianl backup. Then would not let me do anything?

so then it sounds like you'd need to update the predator.... the vehicle's calibration is not supported on the current revision...

what revision is it on now?

the revision number is at the top of the screen when it's at the main menu..

It is 9r08. i just bought it and received it yesterday. seems strange it would not be latest and greatest.

whereever you bought it from must have old stock...

try to update it to the latest 7194 revision...

you can download the revision file from the 7194 support download page... as well as the dsdownloader app to do the update...

and there are instructions on the page as well...


you bought the pc interface kit with it, right??? (it's sold separately)... you need that so that you can connect your predator to your Windows PC in order to update it...

Does this mean that definitely the version I have does not support the 2006 Z06 calibration? I do have the interface kit.

actually sounds like an old calibration on the car's ecm... because you have a new enough revision on the predator definitely for the 2006's...

I would get your dealer to do an update to that first, and that should resolve your issue...

what was the exact error message you received?
