Buying a used Predator U7191

Hello,
I was considering purchasing a diablo predator u7191 which was used on a pontiac gto. from what I understand, in order to use the unit on a different car (mine is 2006 chevy ssr) the car its originally programed for has to be reset to the factory settings or cannot be used on another car?
if the worse case scenario turns out and the original owner sold the car without resetting it back to the factory settings. How can you fix the unit?

You are correct, the only way to unlock this Predator is to restore the original backup to the last vehicle it was used on. If the backup is not restored, then the tool is locked and cannot be unlocked. The only option is to send it here for a $99.00 credit towards a new Predator.
