i logged a '07 truck tuned with superchips tuner....

i have a '08 truck with my pred tuner. i went with a fellow who has a '07 truck with a superchips tune. i used my pred and laptop to log his truck and see how the tune is.

after a short cruise his ltft's were actually good at around -1.5 or so.
but his WOT is very rich. it gets to 12.00 for a few seconds off the get go then thats it. it runs in the low to mid 11's for AFR.
but the one thing i noticed is how his transmission shifts way quicker and firmer than mine. i also noticed this on the log. everytime his truck shifts it dont drop spark hardly at all. everytime my truck shifts it drops spark big time. after looking at the superchips plug it has all the pins which must make it capable of tcm support.
i had posted something about this a year or so ago and superchips had tcm support then while diablo has nothing and still has nothing. weak. ill post his log and mine and you can see how his truck hardly drops spark on a shift compared to mine.

you already mentioned that the superchips has tcm/tranny support while the diablo does not....

that's the difference...

BUT, they don't have all the adjustability for everything else that the diablo does...

well... all im sayin is that superchips have tcm support in their tool back then already... why the hold up for the pred or why it wasnt released for the new style trucks when they released the pred back then? then reading comments it looks like tcm support for the pred is history... still frustrated about the whole tcm thing yet. the other tuning options are nice but so was that firmer quicker shift. anyhooo thats all.
