Kills The Battery

Mike, I would be absolutely wonderful if you took the time out of your day to fix the issue with your product so that us challenger owners that have invested hundreds of dollars in YOUR product could actually use the product without it killing our car batteries. I know my tone is not polite but I spoke with you on the phone when this first occurred ALMOST A YEAR AGO! I again spoke with your customer service people a couple of months ago and was told that you are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. I might as well have spent less and bought a predictor since that is what my trinity has become. I tried unplugging it every time I got out of the car, but if I forget even once....dead battery. It also wears on the plug to connect it and disconnect it that often. It is infuriating to receive emails (like the one I just received today) listing all the new vehicles your trinity "supports" when you have not lifted a finger to fix it for ours...I am stuck with a $600+ paper weight. Could you PLEASE focus on fixing this issue promptly?

Damd right I am crabby. Paid $600 buck for this thing a year ago and so far got nothing out of it but a dead battery. I do not appreciate the snotty reply nor the semi-snotty email from mike. I have been asking about this for a long time and they are just now fixing the issue. I will not even get into the headache I had to go through to get a right angle cable in exchange for the straight cable that didn't stay plugged in to the OBDII port. My original post was polite compared to what you guys deserved for such poor customer service and support. I don't care if your next product is the best thing since sliced bread....I will NEVER buy or recommend a Diablo product again! The rest of your customers should hold you to a better standard and not put up with waiting a year for a fix to a problem that never should have existed in the first place. How hard is it to test a product out before you sell it on the open market? Or did you not test it to the extent of leaving the unit connected overnight? Either way, inexcusable. Sure this post is going to get me banned form the boad anyways...but good riddens I say.

Sir, we tested the Trinity for years, in fact, we tested it about a year longer than we were supposed tojmmsid wrote:Damd right I am crabby. The issue here, was related ONLY to 09-10 Challys with the push button start, as Chrysler changed how the PCM recognizes 'key on', yet all of the old key on stuff was still there. When we got a Chally in here, we tested the sleep modes, and it all worked, there was no reason to assume it would drain the battery, as it had not been an issue in any other vehicles, Ford, GM or Chrysler. Once the problem was identified, it did take quite a bit of digging to figure out the exact cause and proper fix, but as soon as we were able to duplicate it here in front of the engineers, a fix was made and release asap.
I apologize if you felt me email was snotty, it was not my intention, I just want to make sure everyone is enjoying their Trinity.
