Predator wont Boot Up after update attempt
My U7186 for my 06 Duramax had rev20. I tried to update it to 9r12.
I downloaded 2.2.1.9exe and the 9r12.crom file
I followed the instructions, returned original program, plugged in my Dynex DX-UBDB9 serial to USB. The program recognized my predator and started the update. It loaded to 8195 of 8207 packets and froze for a few minutes. I then got a 'FAILED - TRANSMISSION ERROR' and the update did not load. I did a second attempt with no luck. I tried downloading the .exe file again and re-booting my computer for a third attempt. My computer wont even recognize my Predator anymore and when I power up the predator, I get the 'KROS Operating System' message followed by 'Booting_dmx_lly_lbz' then a blank screen. The original rev20 is gone as well and my Predator powers up but nothing is there. Please Help

I tried to load the file you sent me with 2.2.1.9exe and it cant find the predator. I checked the device manager and the device is working properly and shows the USB to Serial in Port Com 5. This program recognized and found my predator yesterday when it attempted the update.
Any suggestions? The instructions show 2.2.1.7exe as the DS Downloader Installer

follow the instruction on dsdl that says 'click here if tool says application missing or corrupt', or follow the attached instructions.

I tried this and get the message 'This is not a valid tune file' when I try to select u7186_dmx_lly_lbz-9r08
I have the file saved on the desktop and when i click 'Send tune file to Tool', the window 'Select PCM/TCM File for download' it is looking for 'Tune Files (*.frg, *.frd, *.drg, *.drd, *.grg...) and so on and wont recognize u7186_dmx_lly_lbz-9r08 as a selectable tune

you do not click send tune file, you click update tool....may want to check the revision update instructions.
