OBD-II location

I have a 2010 Cadillac Escalade.I have looked 3 times for the OBD-II port and can't see it. On my previous car it was right in the open.

Can anyone tell me where to look?

Using Trinity. Revision U7194-1r07c.

They are always under the dash below the steering wheel, sometimes off to the left or right a bit...

I agree with you. However, my obd port is not readily apparent. I hoped someone could tell me if it's under a cover or something.

it's there... it's not covered or anything...

get down by the pedals, and look up under the bottom of the dash...

I went to the dealer today. The service writer told me there was no OBD port. This car is programmed with a laptop through the cigarette lighter plug. Ever heard of that?

hahah... nah... there's an obd port... they ALL have obd ports man... can't access the computer modules through a cig. lighter...

he uses the cig lighter plug to power his laptop maybe, but then there's another cable going from the laptop to the obd port...

emissions testing is done by connecting to the vehicle's obd port.. they all have 'em... it's in there...

you check your owners manual?????

Some vehicles may hide the OBD II port behind an access panel or underneath a coin tray.

look around... it's there...
