Windows 7 compatability?

i have tried 3 times to install the Trinity Drivers, DS Downloader from the CD to my newest HP laptop. I cannot get it to work. What do I need to do? My older laptop has Windows XP and I was able to get the Trinity up and running, updated so I am going. The older laptop is not what I normally use due to slower than hell. Can you advise on Windows 7? What can I do? Thank you,

Try downloading them from the site rather than the disc?
