Sorry for all the questions, but I am new the programmer thing but thanks to all of you I am figuring it out and getting my truck dialed in. But I have a couple more:
I am thinking about putting in a 180 thermostat, since I am doing this do you all recommend stock plugs or should I change the heat range? Also I am currently running Autolite XP's, have not had any problems as I know there seems to be a lot of debate on if anything other then copper cores should be used. But I have been hearing good comments of other sites about NGK V-Powers, since all of you or most use the Diablo with engine mods I wanted to get your advise.

MSD Coils???? Better Then Stock Or The Same?

One More Question, I know my truck is having issues with COT at WOT. By lowering the thermostat from 203 to 180, the coolant system should take away more the waste heat, thus not as much waste heat through the exhaust system lowering the cat temp? Am I correct in this?

2006 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L
* K&N Intake System
* Cat Back System
* BBK Throttle Body
* 91 Tune (No 93 In Cali)

Thanks Again For All You Help,

Josh

MSD Coils are needed only if you have lots of engine mods, if the spark is being blown out. You don't need them yet. If you need coils anyway though, may as well. They aren't much more expensive.

Id run the stockers.

One less thing to worry about. They will support well north of 1000 rwhp ;)

Ya thats what I have been reading on the internet, what do you guys think about the plugs with a 180 thermostat? I ordered stock NGK V-Power plugs, figured I'd give them a try just wanted to some input before I change them.

AJ/HemiTuner recommends NGK Iridium IX plugs for modded Hemis. Personally I couldn't get them locally, so I went with Bosch Ir Fusion's instead. Then again, I went with the MSD coils with them. :p

Should I change the heat range of the plug with a cooler thermostat installed or do you think the stock heat range does okay?

I'm running 2 heat ranges cooler. Its more because of my heads, cam, headers, etc, and serious knock then the thermostat. You haven't gone internal, so stock should be fine.
