More issues with my Predator for 07 Ford Ranger

Ok, well the is getting ridiculous, I bought this tool about 4 months ago and have not been able to use it because I had to wait for an update. Well finally you guys put out an update that should have fixed my problem. Well it didn't, I am now getting a Cal Id PYFK3A7. If you guys can't fix my problem this time I want my money back, this is out of hand, I spent all this money and I can't even make the tool work. I want some answers!!!

My truck is a 2007 Ford Ranger XLT 4X4 with the 4.0L V6

dont feel bad man you arnt they only one ive got the same issue with the u7157 on my 08 mazda b2300 cal id PYDN0AA ive been waiting for a month ive even contacted the bbb to no avail every time i call i get told screw you mustang and f150 guys come first because you have a low volume unit(they say that in a not so rude manner) the worst thing about the whole issue is having to spend more money on a cable and power supply to update it for a vehicle that its advertised to work on right out of the box
another thing that really sucks is every single time a f-150 or mustang guy calls in we just keep getting kicked back down the list i estimate atleast a year before we get a update

if you have a laptop just connect a serial cable to the predator, and plug the predator into the Car\OBD II port for power.

x2 great news i tryed to contact the bbb to close the dispute but had problems getting though i logged onto the dispute online and in the comment section ask they close it and added a link to this thread

Good to hear.

I tested the update yesterday and all was well, making a final tweak and will have a release soon!

I was shooting for today, but some of the adjustable params for the new calibrations are not playing nice, so lets say tues/wed.

how is it that it doesn't work on the OP's truck, yet i have the same truck (07 4x4 4.0 xlt) and it works fine?

You likely have not been updated by the dealer to the newer calibrations.
