i have this predator tuner for 98-04 mustang, i tried connecting it in my 2000 mustang v6 and it says "it is not license to this vehicle" what does it mean??? is it lock????

if so i would like to send it back to get it unlock or reset, i am about to fill up the RMA but before that i just want to know if how long or how many days will it take to reset or unlock the unit then return it back to me????

yes.. that message means it's locked to the previous vehicle...

it will cost you $129 to get it unlocked...

i am willing to pay the unlocking fee. i just want to know how many days will it take.

Some units can be unlocked immediately over the phone. Don't know if thats one of them.

yeah, it all depends on what revision it's on...

power it up, and when it's at the main menu, the revision number is at the top of the screen... what is it?

Call Tech Support tomorrow and they'll let you know if they can do a phone reset or not.

i tried calling tech support alot of times but no one is answering, i tried emailing tech support but no answers!
i only have 2 simple questions.. i just want to know if they can do phone reset for the predator model that i have and if NO i just want to know before i fill up the RMA if how long will it take for them to get it unlock the unit....

thank you mike, but i cannot see any tire size change under axle ratio menu.. i still dont know if my speedometer is accurate... i tried the 93 octane then modify parameters then went to axle ratio, under axle ratio there were only 4 option and these are: -axle ratio, -enable axle ratio change, -tire revs per mile, and the -traction control..

oh i see.. its in the tire revs per mile... so how can i calculate the tire size of my car? sorry but i cannot understand the formula.. what is the best setting? my stock rims was 16" and the tires are 225/55/16... my new rims now is 18" and the tires are 265/35/18 in front and 285/35/18 at the rears... how can i convert that to your formula???
