P0882 code after adding fuel on 93 tune, 7137

Post by dawgofnate »

U7137, 08 crom, 08 5.7 Ram

At the track, I datalolged and found that my LTs were causing KR and had to add fuel. I added fuel and was waiting in line to make another pass when I and felt the truck act like the ebrake was on. It was throwing a P0882 code. P0882-TRANS 12 VOLT SUPPLY RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW. All I did was add fuel to get rid of the knock. I parked by the staging lanes, reset the code and got back in line. Next run, no problems except there was still a little KR so I adjusted the tune again with more fuel. I got back in line and the code came back anlog with others like low tranny fluid level. Basically the tranny went in to limp mode and I couldn't get it to turn off. I decided I was done and packed everything up. As soon as everything was packed up, the codes go away! The staging lane was backed up and I had to start heading home. I dataloged on the way home and everything seems fine but I am still concerned. What could have caused the codes and tranny safe mode?

Sounds like it may have been a fluid level issue?

It is a new to me (used) DSP since my last one was stolen. Mike helped me marry it to the truck Friday evening. There are two strange things with this new DSP. The first is that it will let me raise the rev limiter past 5900 (old one didn't with any crom) and the other is that I got tranny codes after adjusting WOT fuel. It seems that I have to adjust the fuel, reload the tune, run the truck for 5-10 mins, let it rest and then I can get the codes to clear. I thought you might want to have a heads up and also wanted to see if anyone else has seen this.
