C6 Z06 Vararam VR-SC1R Snake Charmer Installation

Hi, I'm new on this so please bear with me. I bought an U7194 directly from Diablosport for my 2007 C6 Z06 and I'm planning to install a Vararam VR-SC1R Snake Charmer CAI but after reading in some sites they recommend tunning to get the most out of the mod and to prevent lean conditions. I'm want to get the most out of the two without hurting my engine. Should I get a custom tune? My vette is bone stock. Any advice Please.
