what has happened. States unable to get calid

hey guys, I loaded a tweeked tune that was sent to me from one of the diablo guys. Loaded it to predator, loaded it to car and wnet to data log. All seemed well.

came back in and wanted to send the logs and the last tune written.

Now when I try to hook up my predator and start dsdownloader, it states it is found, but never does anything and the predator screen states
unable to get calibration id pcm. make sure key is on.

what the heck is up?

What tool and version do you have on Predator?

It worked before i sent my last tune written to be tweeked.

That rev. had an issue when exporting a custom tune as "last tune written". It needed to poll the ECU for Calid.
You have 2 choices:
1) connect Predator to the ECU when connected to DSDownloader when exporting the tune.
OR
2) upgrade to more recent 9r27 after restoring backup and re-installing tune. (Doesn't require being connected to ECU when exporting tunes from Predator).

I actually did something like that last night. I loaded original tune back to car which reset the predator and allowed me to connect to the dsdownloader. Then I upgraded to 9r27. I then loaded my custom tune to the predator and after work today i will reload that tune.

That should work right?
