leaving the trinity hooked up

Ok this may be a dumb question but anyway here it goes. I just installed the trinty on '10 silverado 5.3 and love it but my question is do i need to leave the trinty hooked via the obd II after i install the tune can i unplug it right? i know if i want to do some data logging i need to hook it up, but not all the time right

You can leave it plugged in or unplug it if you like.
