Turning AFM off

Hey guys,

Just installed the 87 tune in my 2010 Avalanche, do I just need to "modify tune" to turn of AFM completely? I don't see in the instructions where that is an option in the list of items you can modify.

Yes, modify the tune you are installing.

hi, i have a 2008 gmc sierra 5.3 liter and i want to do turn off the AFM on it because i have a different exhaust on it and it sounds like crap when it kicks in to 4 cylinders. So my question is if i buy the predator to turn it off, do i have to take it somewhere to get a tune afterwords or will it be ok ? cause ive also heard if i turn it off the check engine light will come on or somthing is that true too?
