Re: 2007 grand cherokee needs new DCX calibration

Here's the problem:
3 months ago dealership reflashed PCM. There is a TSB dated 5-26-10 that improves MDS driveability and hesitation between 38-45 MPH. This re-flash improved my highway MPG 20-25%. With the latest CROM, I was forced to downgrade calibration. I regret it now. It may be selfish, but I want the performance and mileage gains.

How do we fix this?
what is the updated calid?

All,

Speaking of Gas mileage, what is everyone averaging with the new CROM? My city driving seems to be staying around 13.3 city. I haven't had a chance to run the highway yet.

I already tried those steps and info
Tool is stuck at that message
I cannot get past step 10 as when I go to power cycle the tool it just boots up for like 3 seconds and goes directly to APPLICATION MISSING OR CORRUPT and that's all I can do

I uninstalled every diablo related thing on my laptop (as I downloaded and retried so many times)
Can you tell me what I need to download in order before I call
Driver and downloader, does it matter which one first?
I am running vista
As well as the update on this thread.....an order to do it?
Thanks

I've been running this new update for a few weeks now. I am still noticing pinging. It actually seems to have gotten worse at WOT in first gear. It also seems to have a strange up and down surge of the RPM when in a low gear under load. And thirdly, it sometimes wont shift into overdrive on the highway. I have to manually downshift, accelerate than go back into overdrive. It seems worse than the last program. I think Im just going back to stock cause this is getting to annoying.

Johan/Mikel,

Is the new u7137-9r09.crom posted on the products download page dated (10-05-2010) the same update as the u7137_9t09e_212.crom at the beginning of this post?
