No Serial Flash Found
Hey Mike
I own the predator device serial # U7135
Sticker # 18104
Trying to upload V.9r27 and the device displayed prompt no serial flash found contact tech support. I had uploaded the 9r12 version with no incident and had even made modifications to my vehicle.
I then returned the stock tune to my vehicle to download the most updated version and to my dismay my tuner will not read anything but this contact support message.
I own a 2007 Dodge SRT 8.
Any help is much appreciated, Mike.

I'm having the same issue right now too trying to update an older Predator. It had 8r18 on it(!), tried to install 9r27, that screwed up, got the corrupt message. Installed 9r12, but it had some wacky 13 digit number listed for the VIN. Tried to install 9r27 again, get the no serial flash message. Crazy shit.
Here we go;
Last Tune Written (Continue)

PCM: BLANK
Vin: V77336H279989 (Continue)
Goes back to the Menu.

Is there a work around? Or a $129 charge or unlock it.

RE: Re: Incompatible hardware (no serial flash found) error
I don't know what vehicle it is. It was purchased used, but when I checked it before the update, it gave a different message. IIRC it was "Predator not married yet. Nothing to show", or something very similar to that. I took that as meaning it had been reset?
Then I tried to put on 9r27, had the Application Corrupt issue, tried to reinstall it multiple times, with it locking up on 4 or 5 occassions, finally got it on, got the serial message, put on 9r12, and now this.

Yes, now it boots saying 9r12.
I haven't tried it, so for all I know it may work. Not sure.

Thanks, it seems to have worked. We'll find out for sure when I start the truck. Its raining now, and I'm too lazy to go anywhere. :p
RE: Re: Incompatible hardware (no serial flash found) error
I appear to have the same problem indicated in this thread of being and older version of the tuner that will not take the r27 update but will not play with my 10 Challenger either. It likes the r12 but gives me the message about the 68052005AC error.
