Getting into the Caliber SRT4 is easy, the PCM is a SIEMENS VDO SIM90T. The hard part will be finding a programmer to take the time and work with GPEC1 code using ASAM CCP 2.1. As an inventor, Edison made 1,000 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb. When a reporter asked, "How did it feel to fail 1,000 times?" Edison replied, "I didn’t fail 1,000 times. The light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps."
DIABLOSPORT failed, KRAFTWERK failed. Someone will hack it and make the 5000+ Caliber SRT4 owners very happy.

Id venture to say we'd have to try before we can fail, and that has not yet happened, so, you can take that statement back
You hit the nail on the head though....5000+ caliber owners.
Meanwhile, we are developing tools for the 2011 Mustang that will sell probably 150,000+ units, this year alone.
Then 09-10 F150, of which there are more vehicles on the road than anything else in existence, so you can understand why it has not made it to the top of the list I hope.
Thanks

In case it wasn't known that controller is not only used in the Caliber SRT-4 and I'm not talking about the normal Calibers (which it does though).mikel wrote:Id venture to say we'd have to try before we can fail, and that has not yet happened, so, you can take that statement back

So those figures are a bit off if your looking at all the platforms it is used in.

U.S. Sales..../....Caliber..../....Compass..../....Patriot..../....Total

Plus the 5,000+ Caliber SRT. Just saying that if the Controlller was supported those are the potential platforms supported.

Unfortunately, those markets are ones we would consider less than 2%, meaning not even 2% of the owners of those types of vehicles would consider buying a tuner, so the numbers get cut down quite a bit.
Dont get me wrong, Id love to see a Caliber tuner, and the SRt4 Neon tuner is tremendously successfull, I'd guess we have tuners in at least 50% of all the SRT4 Neons on the road, but its very rare to run into a niche market like that, and did not hurt the Neon guys that they shared a PCM with a very performance oriented HEMI crowd

rofl, DON'T do that!
Hopefully as we move down the road into the InTune, it will open the door to a lot of new applications
