The Puc adds more fuel pressure adding to the Predator, things can get a little hotter but you will notice more power. I used to run the 2 together and had some fun with it...you really should have a EGT gauge.

ok cuz i was wondering how the heck does it do that lol. so now is the cp3 still getting enough fuel cuz of this increase and does your fuel pressure drop to an dangerous level?

When running added pressure it is recommended to have the appropriate lift pump to supply the CP3. As far as how, I guess the Puc remaps the ECU in order to change the parameters.

easy install.
it raises pressure by manipulating signals from the fuel sensor and PCM...

hey mike on average, how much psi does the puck drop in fuel pressure using stock lift pump.

It wasn't to bad to install, however just today it crapped out. Apparently I didn't get the warranty card submitted quick enough (30 days) so nothing is covered. Going to the FASS 150GPH Platinum now. Yes you will notice a difference. Before I installed an after market lift pump I could easily drain the rail, 0 pressure on the low side.

Well its a good pump just not the one I had I guess...lol. It was my own fault as far as not getting the warranty card in on time...

The amount your fuel pressure drops depends on your truck and the condition of the parts in your fuel system. The real concern is how much fuel pressure is ADDED to the rail. Stock, your already running 20k psi, give or take. I don't know how much the puc adds, but alot of chips, including mine, take it to the max pressure of around 26k psi, which is where the safety blowoff opens up. If you force this valve open too many times, it won't close back, causing a loss of pressure at all levels, and major drivability problems. I'm not trying to talk you out of buying a product from this company, because it is noticeably more power and alot of fun. You just need to be aware that, as with ANY performance enhancer, there are risks. Costly ones.

ic ic good info megacab. ropnjessi a liftpump may be in my future cuz not only for if i add power but also seeing the diagrams about water in the fuel doesnt look like a good thing to have lol. help me out here so what upgrades to the engine support higher rail pressure. 1 has to be the lift pump no one wants to drain the cp3 or the rail.

it would be nice if the makers of these products had the data (average) on a stock truck on how the pressures raise and fall other then just saying trans upgrades are needed. trans upgrades are needed when truck leaves the factory imo.
