SD Support for my CMR. I hate having to walk up three flights of stairs multiple times everytime we get an update.

Take the elevator.
The apostrophe does not mean "Look out, here comes an S"!

"I couldn't care less" means it is impossible to care less - "I could care less" just makes you look stupid.

SD support for what? The 1 gig of space in the Trinity isn't enough? Not to mention that in order to get something on the SD card you have to bring it to a computer, so what difference does it make if you bring an SD card or Trinity to the computer? Not to mention when they first started this whole Trinity program they listed serial inputs as already being supported...
yea that OTHER product has that feature

I'm with Rob on this too. I'd much rather be able to create my dash while in the comfort of my home sitting at the PC. I had assumed this feature was a part of the initial release and was really disappointed to see it was not.

Yeah, I have learned to use the Trinity as a Tuner Only. I am disappointed with the screen resolution and the overall functionality of the data logging features. I have a totally seperate product that scans the PID list of my car and retains it in memory, then I can go back to the house and spend hours creating lots of dashboards (it even shows Transmission Oil Temp that the Trinity cannot see - yet!). It has a list of verbal warnings for almost any PID I choose, it has an SD slot for logging and backup/restore functions. I can use it on my wife's FORD and my Dodge. I would like to be able to load the tune files on the SD card so that when I update the trinity, I just have to load the tune back in.

It has been discussed, and it has at least made it to the engineering 'board', which is a good thing.

Just save the PID list when it saves your original tune. You can then download them to your computer along with your backup.

At least save the list in the T. It is a pain to have to start the vehicle to create a gauge layout.

So is an external dashboard editor in the works?

No, but SD card is currently being enabled, and the latest DSDL can export/import dahses.

That's a good thing on the SD and I already use (and showed a few about) the import/export.

Any plans on a dashboard app in the future maybe?

My understanding is that it is not something that can be made 'windows-able'...
