original backup
Is there any way to save my dyno tune that is now my original backup?can I copy it onto an SD card,so If I have to have Ford reflash for any reason,I can use it as a performance tune. Can you tell me if there is anything I can do?I would rather loose another tune if I have to. The tune I drove home from Flroida with is badass, wouldn't wanna loose it.It's back in my car now!!! Thanks, Bud
RE: original backup
How is your dyno tune your original backup? I don't think thats possible.
You can easily save it though. Just hook up the Trinity to your computer, open up DS Downloader and save last tune written.

IF SDCard is enabled in your CROM; it will be in Options menu. Otherwise, do as Mike suggested and connect Trinity to DS Downloader saving ORI and LastTune Written. Either way will give you the same set of files.
Re: RE: original backup
I had my car dynotuned at Delray. When I got the new 2011 mustang tune downloaded,it set my dynotune as the original backup, like Mike L. said it would.I know it is not the original Ford tune,it is v.1t07bn.It will go 165+mph. The 1r07b won't even come close to the socalled backup tune. It won't shift into 6th gear without letting off the throttle a few milliseconds. The backup I downloaded 1t07bn is a butt kicker.I figured it would't change just by downloading the new tune and using it for the backup. It seems to be running like it did when I left Florida now, SWEET!!!Mike_Levy wrote:How is your dyno tune your original backup? The car runs 12.50s again, with factory tires and no other mods, just the 1t07bn tune. Thanks, Bud Lum
RE: Re: RE: original backup
When I try to save it it says not married with vehicle, nothing to save.Do I need to download another tune and marry the device. Then can I copy,or save the one that says original backup, which is the dynotune done at Diablosport in Delray? Thanks again.sorry I'm so much trouble!

Did you ever flash the vehicle with it?
