New to programming. Need Help Please

I have had my Predator on my Dodge Ram for 10 months. I have adjusted some settings over the course of owning it, however I did so without much knowledge or comfort in doing so. I am confused how to "upload updates", and then reapply them to my truck. I also don't know how to view the parameters so I know Im not hurting my truck while also trying to improve the performance of the chip.

I am profoundly confused with these instructions. None of it means anything to me. I need instructions for dumb asses. I have a $400 chip and I would like to actually be able to use it, and update it without this PDF bullshit files trying to teach me how to do it. I have a chip, an AC charger, a USB cable, and a CD disc. What do I do!?

I just dont understand...are you asking for instructions on how to read the instructions?

They are very step by step, and will walk you through each step of the download/update process.

9r09 is the new update you need.

DSDL iNstaller will load the DSDownloader program you need.

It just downloaded a Trinity software to my computer.. I have a Predator.

So if my Predator says "Predator v.9r06", then had it accepted the update?

I guess what I'm also confused is, is how subjective is it of me to play around with shift points ect? Does that mess with the usefulness of an update if I plan to go in and advanced shift points?

Don't feel bad because I'm just about as bad as you are at understanding computer speak. If you have a friend that is computer savy it will be a great help. I'm a little lucky because I have my son around sometimes to go through this but he's not always available and Mike M. at Diablo was so much help to me but I can't keep asking for thier help as they are very busy. If you have a local hot rod shop nearby I would guess for a small fee they can help you through this and maybe teach you at the same time, good luck.
