2011 Mustang V6 - Trinity Adjustable Cam Timing Help

Post by KonaBlueDeuce »

I recently purchased a Trinity for my 2011 Mustang 3.7L V6. One of the reasons I chose the Trinity is because it offers the ability to modify the advance / retard of both the exhaust and intake cams independently at low and high RPM's. I'm interested to do some tests adjusting the Mustang's TI-VCT (TWIN INDEPENDENT VARIABLE CAMSHAFT TIMING) to shift the powerband.

Are there any general guidelines for the affect when adjusting these parameters?

Thanks!

Well, fwiw, we have optimized the cam settings in our canned tunes for a stock car, no point in messing with htem until you modify the motor IMO.
