Post by Rozwell1 »

Well lost over 30 hp after following the updats from r14 to 9r27 only thing that has changer was a DCX update for 9r12.. this is where i lost power .. just did a dyno run showing 30 hp lower then another car same make and model motor....

I have no answer for this, i would hope you would help me here ..

Perhaps we should have reloaded the stock tune and see if it made any more power.

I believe you dyno'd 322 hp / 340 torq stock right? Did you get a dyno with the r14 tune loaded?

At what point were you forced to do a DCX file update via the predator?
Did that take place at some point between r14 and r27? Did you go straight from r14 to r27, or were there other tunes loaded between?

Yeah, cant compare what your car made to what another car made, at all.

Is this a stock 5.7?

You can't base your power off another vehicle. Each one is slightly different, and the power difference could be huge. My CSRT8 made 390rwhp with just an intake and tune, while my GCSRT8 makes 392whp with heads, cam, intake mani, TB, headers, injectors, etc, etc, etc. Same 6.1L motor, way different results.

Something is wrong with that chart too. The horsepower and torque curves must cross at 5250rpms. Yours don't. Based on that alone, I'd say thats a dyno fuck up.
