2008 Ford F-450 6.4L Not updating

DSDownloader level: 2.2.2.0

We are a Diablosport dealer here in Southern California.

I updated the customers Predator Tuner to the latest CROM file: u7164-9r12a

The DSDowloader is the latest at: 2.2.2.0

The tuner takes the CROM file, but when I attempt to use the tuner to go into performance tune, I get the error message: "Feature not supported"

I did put the tuner and vehicle PCM back to original configuration before performing the update with the new CROM file. Currently, the vehicle PCM/TCM/FICM are back to stock configuration.

Any suggestions on how do update the Predator so I can perform the performance tune to the customers vehicle? Thanks in advance.

Well, the first issue I see is that there was not a 6.4 in a 2006, it was a 6.0. The U7164 is for a 2008-2010 with the 6.4 not a 2006 with the 6.0. Are you sure you got the right vehicle/tuner?

It is a 2008 F-450, I entered the wrong model year in the original post.

Can you get us the CAL ID?
All you have to do is hook up the tool, key the vehicle on, and select
OPTIONS/TROUBLESHOOTING/SHOW CALIBRATION ID

I just wanted to finish up this thread. I contacted Diablosport tech support and they sent me a new file which I was able to install into the predator programmer. I was then able to update the vehicle PCM.
