Frustrated with Trinity shorting out

Post by calbert »

I purchased the Trinity device several months ago to have the ability to retrieve and store various tunes as I started executing on my mods for my vehicle.
Since then I have sunk an additional $100 for Diablo tunes (post mods), and another $40 for RMA shipping when the first device shorted out. After finally getting the second device (took about 2mos. for the reseller and the distributor to figure out how to get me a new device), I've used the replacement (2) times, and when connecting to my vehicle for a 3rd. time the new device shorted out too.
At this point I'm very frustrated considering I've had several mods done to my vehicle at this point, and haven't been able to obtain any of the tunes along the way. Basically, I've lost my $700 investment.
Is DiabloSport doing anything to investigate and / or resolve the electronics in this device that's causing it to short out?

Not sure, I guess the device is shorting out. This is the second device I've had, that will work a few times and then won't power up at all.
The first one I smelled it when it fried, this one I didn't but it simply doesn't power on anymore.
At this point the vendor won't even reply to my email.

Cable & connector seems to have some serious problems. This is the 2nd. device so far. I purchased this device back in early summer last year and haven't gotten any value from it due to issues, RMA, shipping, replacement, issue again. How can I get this resolved, at this point I can't even get a dialogue going with the distributor and reseller. Please, help!!!!!!
