Hi
I am looking over this site to try to find my answer but I cannot !
I got an SRT8 MAgnum 2006 and also a wide band autometer gauge in the car
I would like to data log but I cannot figure out how to program the trinity to read the correct air fuel .
From now, I can get the voltage reading but I would like the have the air fuel reading
Autometer say there gauge output is from 0 to 4 volt.
What should I enter as a lo and high value ?
Thanks
how to program an autometer wide band sensor to the trinity

RE: how to program an autometer wide band sensor to the trin
You need to figure out what 0 and 4 volts equal as far as AFR. Then, you can go into the options menu in the Trinity and configure your analog inputs. Assuming it is a linear output, you just enter the min and max voltages and what AFRs they correspond to and the Trinity does the rest.
The apostrophe does not mean "Look out, here comes an S"!
"I couldn't care less" means it is impossible to care less - "I could care less" just makes you look stupid.

I agree with the original poster...DiabloSport needs to give us some better advice on hooking up Wideband o2's to the Trinity...I always get referred to the same useless sticky...

in the trinity menu, it do not ask what air fuel ratio correspond to the voltagegizmodo wrote:You need to figure out what 0 and 4 volts equal as far as AFR. It only ask the low input in volt and the high input in volt
so the gauge work but it show me 3.2 volt !
How I can program that 0 volt correspond to 15.1 AFR and 4 volt to 10.1?
and yes my output from the autometer is linear from 0 to 4 volt
RE: Re: RE: how to program an autometer wide band sensor to
Trinity input range is 0-5v. Your autometer is 0v == 15.1 AFR, 4v == 10.1 AFR (Please check it's not 0 == 10.1 and 4v == 15.1).
Do the following:
- Options -> Analog Input Config -> Reset All defaults. (Start fresh)
- Options -> Analog Input Config -> Add a New Parameter.
- Enter a Name (e.g. "My AFR")
- Select the analog input chanel. (1 or 2 depending which wires you used. see: http://www.diablosport.com/index.php?na ... 14&start=0)
- Change Units. (It defaults to "Volts". Change it to "AFR" or anything you want using the '<' button)
- Enter Lower Bound: 15.1 ( maps to 0v)
- Enter Upper Bound: 8.75 ( maps to 5v)
