u7165 says "oringinal backup appears to be tune"

I just bought a used 7165 and updated it before i used it.
When i try to load a program, it says " original backup appears to be tune"
I just bought the truck from an old man who bought it brand new. I doubt he tuned it, so what does this mean?

well, according to tech support, the old man had put a tune in the truck at some point. Original backup is a tune!!! This may explain my horrible gas millage of 12 on the highway. So i am off to the dealer to have pcm reflashed so i can use my preadator.

You would be better off leaving it stock ! The tunes that DS are putting out suck and support for us 6 l guys is non existint here . Read some of the posts before you spend a pile of money on something that is junk.

It all depends on which calid he has. If he has an older flash he will be fine. Unfortunately for the guys with the vcxf9.. thats where the problems are.

Well i certainly would not argue with you because you definity know what you are talking about , but I have the older cal id and mine sucks too so IDK what to do anymore
