PID's show but no data shown or recorded 7193

Post by zz50 »

U7193 9r11, DW 3.3.0.7 Win7 x64 USB to serial to laptop. I used to have ECT, LTFT 1 and STFT1 but now I show the pid but no values or response and of course after saving the file they are missing. This along with the intermittent failure of the log freezing up. Here is the runtime data

RE: PID

The runtime log is not showing any problems. When you indicate it "used to have ECT, LFT, etc.". Was that also using Win7 x64?

IF you wish to try the older DataViewer version, it's still available here:
http://www.diablosport.com/CMR/software ... .2.0.7.exe

Also, can you post the log that is freezing up?

Yes, it worked with all the pid's showing and working then the last 3 times it shows the pid but no data displayed ECT, LTFT Bank 1 and STFT Banks 1. It is like the sensor is not hooked up, but I can see it if only using the datastream from the Predator without the laptop connection. The only thing I may have added as far as pid's maybe gear commanded and total misfire.
Thanks for your help !!

I looked at log test3 -vs- test11. I will agree ECT, LTFT and STFT are not in log test11. Please verify the PIDs are actually selected in the PID tree window. Might try "File->Re-Query Vehicle Info" with Predator and PC/Laptop attached. This allows DV to rebuild a specific vehicle cache. IF your still not seeing ECT, LTFT and STFT, Exit out and save the runtime.txt file.

As for intermittent log; The runtime.txt is not showing any thing. May want to turn off Bluetooth if turned on.

Here are the details. Runtime 18 is the file after "Re-QueryVehicle Info" Runtime 19 is the log after it froze up. After this function the PID's were stilll not available. I ran a log with just the Predator connected and it showed the LTFT, STFT & ECT with the same connection.

As far as the Bluetooth I do not use it. I am not sure it is turned on. How do you turn it off?

Thanks again trying to resolve this issue....

More logs. I changed the number of pid's open and got back the LTFT 1 and others. Will the system limit the amount of info available? What causes this? The runtime log is one that froze up during logging.
