Hi All
I'm wondering if anyone has a tune for 05 Durango AWD with a K/N Cold Air System. I would like to maintain the 87 octane firm up my tranny shifts and any adjustments that would help on MPG. I do about 85% Highway driving @ 65 MPH good for about 150 miles daily. Winter ethenol blend is killing my mileage, any help would be great.
FYI, I did use the 87 canned tune and lost MPG's

Thats wierd I had a friend with a GC awd and that thing would run like a raped ape on 87 and he claimed the mileage was better. 60 miles each way.

I will normally get around 21 to 22 mpg's 3 seasons of the year but in NY they bump of the ethanol to around 15% and mpg have dropped to 19/20 with the 87 tune applied it might just be the blend. I just added the K/N system and I noticed that the PW from Diablo said not to run the canned tune with the K/N so I jumped back to the stock tune so I can get a new base line to work from. It could just be a timing issue because I did the tune around the sametime they changed the gas blends

The ethanol is a joke, drops your mileage 2 mpg or more with just the e-10 junk. I noticed mine has dropped but it has been cooler lately. Itested the ethanol theory when we went on vacation out in N.M. We rented a grand marquis with the 4.6L v-8,it got 25 mpg avg with 87 octane no ethanol. Put in 87 oct e-10 avg. was 23 mpg. Did the test 2 times results were the same. Bottom line is the govt. sticking it to us all in more than one way.
