Wanted: Tuning for the Ecotec 2.2L & 2.4

HP's software is not to bad to use, but yeah it would be nice to have a tune made by a pro.

I agree. I have had 4 other predators and they are very easy to use. I know this thread is for the 2.2 and 2.4L but I know with proper tuning on the 2.0 S/C there is so much more to be had with this engine.

At least you are brand loyal, and if you gotta have a 4 cylinder, it may as well be an Ecotec.

We are planning to support these vehicles in the near future.....we started on them a while back and had to turn attention to the Hemis, but we will be revisiting these vehicles soon.

Yes Mike I know I just cant make up my mind. The vette, well that is a story in it self. What a nightmare. Anyhow got the cobalt S/C now and I like it. Look forward to a tuner in the Near future, I hope?

honestly mike... the first company that gets tuning for my e16a god... i can't even express how big of a fucking sticker i'd slap on the side of my car at the local tracks. speedmafia, procharger, XXXXXXXXX all over the bitch.

if no tuning's out for me by next summer, i've made up my mind to ditch my C-1 and get a GTO and procharge it. but i'm hoping i'm able to keep my satty because she's just already so damn gorgeous, just needs some power behind it.

procharger contacted speedmafia, my main sponsor, and asked them for a writeup on the work we did on my ride. it was really unfortunate to report my numbers at the time all cuz of a less-than-adequate tune via piggyback...

Ok Mike any news on if and when a tuner will be made for the 2.0 s/c, as well as the 2.2 and 2.4. My cobalt is in need of some tuning. It is running pig rich and I am dieing for a predator

Wow I just saw the Diablosport has a tuner for the Ford Crown Vic. But not the Ecotec. Come on Diablosport please get somthing going. My moding on this Cobalt 2.0 ss/sc has begun and if its to much longer Im gonna have to go with the compition (HPT). I like your unit better. Im just hoping that what ever you guys and gals are working on will work with the 2.0 S/C

Mike can you clue us in as to if a predator is still in the thinking phase or is it on the development table? And when might we expect to see it hit the market? Also as I mentioned above you all have a tuner for a Crown Vic but not the Ecotec. Will this tuner work with the 2.0 S/C or just the 2.2 and 2.4. PLEASE,PLEASE, PLEASE we need to know something.

I can tell you right now man it would be a hell of a feat if whatever they came out w/ did all 3 platforms at once (4 if you count the 07 2.2L)... they are all different ECMs and even different OSs between the makes/models. Ideally, though, IMO we'd see the e16a first as it's the only one that doesn't already have an ECM tuning suite on the market, but that could also be because it's the most difficult - i have no idea. So at the very least we can hope they're getting their hands dirty w/ the ecotec line and we'll see full support in time.

Mike, moving back to FL, melbourne area. You guys still working on the ecotec? I was wondering if you need a 2.0 SS/SC for testing Id be happy to drive down to Boca. Are there any updates on the ecotec tuner. Again is it going to include the 2.0 SC? I know HPT has just sent notice that they now are including ford products, comon guys we need a tuner
