Gas Mileage Going South!!

I uploaded the Diablo Tune on my Bullitt about a month ago and three gas thanks later here we are. the car responds great, but i've lost about 20 miles per tank. I used to get about 170 miles per tank, now I only get 150 miles per tank.

In the beginning I though I might have been driving my Bullitt to hard.... but after the last time I filled up I've been making sure no to step on it at all.... the result was the same.... 150 miles per tank!

Any ideas?

P.S Before the tune was loaded I changed the oil and air filter. 93 octane is being use.

Have you checked to make sure you are on the most recent revision of the Predator? It will tell you on the main screen, very top line (above "Performance Tune").

What's the newest revision? and when was it revised?

The newest revision is 7r50d.

Also, try putting the stock tune back in and running 1 or 2 tanks to see if your mileage goes back up.

Alright... I did it!!! I put back the stock tune and i've ran 2 tanks of gas and i've gotten 175mpg on the first and 180 and the second tank. All city miles!!!!

Has anyone had this problem before?

Predator made no real difference in my mileage. I drive highway & get about 300 miles a tank or 21 - 24 mpg. I recommend the ScanGage by Linear Logic it shows MPG on the fly, per trip, per tank, per day and is very accurate especially once calibrated. Just plug into OBD2 port and leave in the car, it's small 1 x 1 x 4, has many functions and is about $ 165. Oh yes, it's a MIL light code reader as well !
You would be suprised how little it would take to knock 20 miles off of a tank of gas. Under moderate acceleration MPG will drop to 4-5 and less than that under WOT.
