2001 Cobra stalling out

2001 Mustang Cobra

I installed the tune jan 5 and the first day after a cruise on the highway I downshifted off the on ramp and the car died. Its happened twice since then while coming to a stop it seems when I take the car out of gear and push in the clutch it falls in rpms. What could this be and should I change anything on my tune?

well, if the tune was already there, and has not changed, itis not tune related ;)

Id go over wiring harnesses, fuel pump connections, etc to find the problem.

that happened when I first tuned my mustang. It sucked. Every time i came to a stop the car would die, and when I would hit the clutch the RPM would shoot up. This is a post I did a while back to someone who was experiencing the same problem you are having.

-----
I made sure all the clamps were tight and everything sealed. I used MAF Sensor cleaner spray to clean the MAF sensor, and then I took off the Throttle Body and used a Throttle Body spray cleaner for that as well. Took off a lot of gunk buildup and made it spotless.

1. Put my car back to Stock Tune.
2. Did NOT turn car on.
3. Applied a Tune from the Diablosport Predator (91 Octane C&L Racer - because I have a C&L Racer intake.)
4. Once it was finished tuning, I unplugged the negative part of the battery.
5. After 10 minutes I plugged it back, and TURNED THE CAR ON.
6. Let car idle for 10 minutes.
7. Turned the AC on for another 10 minutes (full blast)
8. Turned off AC, and continued in idle for another 5 minutes.
9. Drove the car around town for 10 minutes, shifting below 3k RPM, nice driving.

Then I turned off the car and turned it back on after letting it set for 5 minutes...

The rough idling/stalling went away.
------------

Hope this helps you
