Unlock for different vehicle??

I tried looking but couldn't find what I am after.

I have a U7180 version 1.11 2002 Chevy Duramax

I have had this tuner a long time, I am wanting to unlock it from my old truck to use it on my wifes truck. I heard I have to send it in. I have no receipt, I purchased years ago from a place that is now out of business. What do I need to do? How much do you guys charge? Can I keep it so I can read all the data that I can now? (I heard the updates will not allow it to read balance rates) Thanks for the help guys, ---I am a very satisfied customer---E
