I am looking into buying tuner U7193 for my truck. I recently put larger tires on it, and it has a Volant intake. I would use the 87 octane tune. My question is, do I HAVE to do data logging in order to see worthwile results? And if I do, how difficult is data logging for someone with no experience with engine tuning?

...and is the torque management automatically turned off for the 87 or 93 octane settings? I dont need to be blowing up my transmission any time soon.
