2007 NBS silverado 4x4 speed limiter brake and abs light
brakke and abs lights come on after turning off speed limiter on u7194 after a mile of driving, it takes the tune and tire size ajustments just wont take the speed limiter turning off. just wondering why?

Speed limiter I can fix, what revision are you on?
Are you sure the speedo is correct after the tune?

its the v.9r14a version, and yeah it is i have 285/70r17 bfg all terrains its accurate within one mph
RE: 2007 NBS silverado 4x4 speed limiter brake and abs light
Modifty tune parameters and turn DOD off, set speed limiter 1 to 120 mph, install tune. Do not set speed limiter 2 (as said in a post somewhere on here) and you may or may not want to adjust tire size in the tune parameters but try without it first.
I had the same exact problem and this worked for my 2007 4v4 silverado 5.3 so far. I have read almost every post on this forum about this ABS and brake light issue and this is the only way I have found so far to fix this issue. The speed limiter may not have to be set to 120 mph but it was the first one I picked and it worked, it may just have to be set to something. I will not be touching my tuner ever again unless my ABS and brake lights come back on.

Sorry it didn't help you. I ended up turning dod back on. Only modifications I have to tune are speed limiter 1 set to 120mph and my abs light has not came on after a couple hundred miles of driving. Otherwise it would come on at about 5 minutes of driving.

mikel i updated my predator and tried again and the same thing happened just seemed faster to happen, and should the dash display say that engine power has been reduced while downloading tune or backing up stock tune.just asking if you will please let me know if anything can help
RE: 2007 NBS silverado 4x4 speed limiter brake and abs light
yes, the dash/DIC will display those messages during the tuning/flashing process, that's normal and nothing to worry about...

06montess do you have any idea why my brake and abs lights come on after taking the speed limiter off
RE: 2007 NBS silverado 4x4 speed limiter brake and abs light
no... the GM trucks are fricken wierd/touchy... sometimes changing the speed limiter does that, sometimes it doesn't... changing the tire size will do it as well... have you change the tire size at all??

06montess I've corrected my tire size bc I have 285-70's on there and its right now, its fine long as I don't turn the speed limiter off
