probably would run ok... but, wouldn't be the best... because the COT protection would still be enabled... so, trouble codes for the cats, for the rear O2 sensors, and COT still pumping in extra fuel...

Ahh, yeah that makes sense, so it's just best to wait till I get a custom tune, and have you modify accordingly after that...

I have been considering the same thing but was going to buy cheap summit cats, beat them out for visual purposes and have it flanged so every 2 years i can put the stock cats back in, with stock tune, and get it smoged. Then change it all back for another two years.
