Changing Battery

Hi All:

I was wondering if I every have to change the battery on my vehicle, would I loose the tue tune currently on the vehicles ecm, once I disconnect the battery cables ?

Any help appreciated

nope... think of all the dead cars there would be around if changing the battery erased the programming from the pcms, hehe...

the tune will not get lost or erased...

Tks for the info. I guess I was thinking the tune was held like in RAM, loose the power loose the data.

nope.... once the tune is flashed to the pcm, it's in there... no removing it or changing it unless you flash something different to it...
