Gear swap adjustment 2006 silverado

Post by manny »

I've got a 06 silverado 4.8L with 3.23 gear ratio I'll be changing it to a 3.73 soon. What adjustments do I have to make on my U7192 to make my truck shift properly???

Is it a 4x4? if it is you have to change both front and rear.

Just adjust the axle ratio parameter in the adjustable parameter menu to correct the speedo.

Will this adjustment take care of the shift points to. Or do I have to do that seperatly if so what is a good starting point?

Shift points will be separate, as they are based on MPH and RPM, so fix the speedo first.
