Questions about Predator for Challenger SRT8 2009

So, I'm from Sweden, but went over to NY to buy a Challenger SRT8 2009.
(a 6 speed manual!)

Right now it's beeing shipped over the Atlantic in a Container (it's going to be a looong 6-8 weeks!)

So I also got a K&N CAI and a Diablo Predator tuner and put in the trunk and will install after I've registered the car here in Sweden!

But some questions: Is it possible to use this tuner in more than one car (I have a friend with the Charger SRT8, it's the same engine isn't it?)

Or is it locked to the vehicle that I first plug it into?

Or is it even so that it works with severeal cars/engines?

We also have a Dodge Ram 1500 5,7L (2010). Would it work with that one aswell?


I have read a little here that I need to update it? Is all of the cables/software included (or downloadable) or do I have to buy something (in that case what? so that I can prepare and buy it now!)?

How does it work, do I download a certain tune adapted to my CAI that I bought or are there alredy certain tunes in the tuner for that? Or are there just some standard tune in the tuner regardless of what parts are on the car?

No, it will only tune one vehicle at a time.

The Ram applications use the U7137 Predator, not u7135.

Ah, ok. What will happen if I tune my Vehicle then try to tune another?

you can't... you can only tune one supported vehicle at a time...

once you tune vehicle #1, the tool is then locked/married to that vehicle and can not be used to tune supported vehicle #2...

you would have to restore original backup stock tune to vehicle #1 in order to unlock/reset the tool, and then you'd be able to use it on supported vehicle #2...

but as was stated above, that tool does not support that other vehicle anyway...
