05 Jeep GC 5.7 - 'Error reading"tire size" paramet

Post by yellowjeep »

I just bought a brand new trinity today for my '05 GC Hemi powertrain (transplanted into a 2000 Wrangler)

I upgraded the unit to v1r08, did the update to the ECM, I loaded a tune, and reverted back to my stock one just to get a feel for things.

I just want to go in and do a quick adjust (just to see what I can do), but get the error: 'Error reading"tire size" parameter.'

I see this issue has been on the forum before, but no solution was listed..

Clearwater, FL.. I bought it from Gearhead Performance, you have the Dunedin location listed in your dealer locator, but the Clearwater location (not listed) actually had it in stock and was closer.

I tried to add my 'location' to my profile, but cannot seem to find the option..

Any chance you may want to bring that thing by here to figure this out?

I probably can do that, and would definitely be worth the trip. It will be a few weeks/month, I replaced my FCM (BCM to some), mine was suspect.

I also replaced a faulty(open) transmission input speed sensor, now it shifts properly. First I have driven it with real performance, lights up all 4 33" tires very easy and puts a big grin on your face...

One side note, I do not have *any* of the ABS equipment installed, and cannot feasibly do so in this swap. Well, I could probably put in the module and rig up some wheel speed sensors, but hope not to have to...
